Cyclic Magazine Committee:
The Cyclic Award judging committees are made up of experts and senior civil servants who are independent members that review the nomination process that is also supported by the public vote.
Here is what award committees usually do to establish criteria:
  • They will ask industry/company leaders to develop the goals for the program and will then align these goals with the nomination process.
  • They will often run surveys before starting the nomination process. This helps craft a targeted nominee profile.
  • When it is an employee recognition program, we often build criteria with a focus on emphasis in order to deliver measurable value to the participants.
After a couple of weeks of submission of candidates, the nomination line is closed, and discussion of the particular candidate begins. In the light of this first review, the committee draws up the socalled short list of ten candidates for more thorough consideration. The candidates on the short list are then considered by the award experts and decided likewise by a simple majority vote.
Nota Bene:
If its not indicated explicitly in the nomination form, try to be precise and limit each of your responses.
Do your best to submit the profile at least 24 hours before the deadline; This will help you ensure that you dont fall into the trap of any tech breaches or time zone inconsistencies.
Tell the truth; If you dont possess the skills or expertise required, just be honest about it, you want to win this special award for who you are, not for who you are pretending to be. Good Luck.
